Tiny Little cards

I Love to make Tiny little cards. They use such small pieces of paper etc. but I love how they turn out. You can use them as a litle card for somone or as a Gift Tag.

The first one is 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. Even though it's small you can still use all the goodies you use on a standard size card. There is a small piece of  patterned paper from the Elemental paper pack  which has the edges inked with Cocoa ink . Then a 2" scallop circle was punched using the CTMH 2" punch. That is tucked behind another piece of Cocoa CS. This piece has just 2 corners rounded with the corner rounder and then inked with Cocoa ink. Next I added a stamped tree with Olive ink and cut it out.Again I inked the tree edges but with Olive ink this time.  Add foam tape to raise it on the card and a little  Red Glitter Glue for tree decoration. I stamped a star with Buttercup ink , cut it out and added foam tape to add it to the top of the tree. . To finish it off I added a tag with a sentiment and a sheer ribbon knot.

Small Card #2.
This one is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2. I used a piece of Tulip CS and Olive CS to cover the front of the card base. The edges were all inked with Cocoa ink. Then I used a couple of different stamp sets to put this card together. First using Cocoa ink I stamped a bracket shape on patterned paper from  the Typeset paper pack. Then I stamped the Happy Holiday stamp twice. Once in Olive ink and once in Cocoa ink. Then I cut them both out. I only used the portion that says Happy Holidays from the Cocoa one and layered that on op of the Olive piece. The last steps were adding stars that were stamped with Buttercup and cut out. Add a bitty sparkle to the center of each star as the final step.

Small Card #3

This card is a little bit bigger coming in at 4 3/4 x 3. First I took the Spray Pen which I had filled with Cocoa ink and water. I sprayed the card base lightly and then edged it with Cocoa ink. Next I took a piece of Tulip CS and dry embossed 1/4' lines which were then sanded. Before I added it to the card front I placed a strip of ribbon along the left side. This card uses a number of stampe dimages also. I stamped a bracket with Cocoa ink and cut it out. I cut a piece of Coca CS and attached the bracket under the right edge. I cut a piece of Colonial White CS to layer on top of the Cocoa Cs which I stamped "Do not Open Until Dec 25th. I stamped the word "UNTIL" again in Tulip ink and layered it on top of the Cocoa inked sentiment. Next I stamped  two ornaments to hang with hemp from the ribbon strip. I stamped one with Tulip ink and One in second generation Tulip and then stamped them again and cut the center strip from each one to layer on top just like I did with the sentiment block. It's a fun technique  of getting  multiple colors in one stamped image.

Small Card #4

My last tiny card is a 3 x 3 card. I again used a number of stamped images to put this card together. The Cricut was used for the banner pieces, and the scallop strip. The stamp called Christmas Love  was used for the gift boxes and the word "Christmas". If you look close on the banners that spell out Merry , you will see a stripe like design. To get that I used a portion of the Happy Holiday stamp that I used in card #2 above. The Olive stripe portion of that stamp was used in a second generation technique to make the design on my little banners. Everything was ink distressed with Cocoa ink. To finish it off I made some knot bows with a little Cocoa ribbon, and Red GlitterGlue for the dots following "Christmas".

Thanks for stopping by!!
