Christmas Week 6

Posted by PicasaThis week I have another circle card from the Around the Holiday's card kit.
It was a fantastic kit because you got everything you needed to complete 12 cards with envelopes!! It came with the base circle card already distressed, 3 full sticker sheets, sheer chocolate dotted ribbon, pop dots and envelopes. This package is great for those quick and easy cards. But the result looks like it took much more time to make.
This one is in the Chocolate and Heavenly Blue colors.
The large center snowflake was pop dotted and I added  a Mocha Pearl to the center. I also placed another Mocha Pearl in the center of the sheer ribbon knot.
I have 2 more designs from this card kit that I will be showing you in the coming weeks.
Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Card Week 5

Posted by PicasaToday I have a Circle Christmas Card. This is one of 4 from a package I had called Around the Holiday's.
There aren't really instructions for this one because of it being a card kit. I did add a bit to what was provided though. I added Prisma Glitter to the Tree and Gift Package. Every Christmas card needs a little sparkle right??
Remember as always you can click on the picture to make it larger.
Hope you are enjoying these Christmas Cards and they are giving you a little bit of ideas anyway.
Thanks for stopping by. See you next time.

8 Weeks of Christmas Cards !!

WEEK #1
I know we are just in August but I am determined to be prepared this year with having my Christmas Cards done far in advance so I can concentrate on all the other Christmas projects, gifts etc. I thought maybe there might be other crafters wanting to do the same thing so I decided I am going to post at least one Christmas card once a week for 8 weeks.

Today is Week #1 of the 8 week entries. I hope it gives you all some inspiration for getting a jump start on your cards done early this year.

This is a 3 1/2 x 8 card. I used CTMH papers and embellishments. It is the Jingle paper pack, C1371 Holiday Jingle stamp set, Olive & Tulip inks, Organdy white daisy ribbon, Tulip Twinkle brads, and White Daisy, Juniper, Tulip card stocks.

One of the papers in the Jingle Level 2 (now retired) has many border strips that are curved. I used a piece from the Trees strip and the  Gift packages strip. The Ho Ho Ho is a stamp that I inked each "HO" in a different color using the Masking Technique. The first one is Juniper, then Olive and then Tulip. The ornament in the last one has a 1/4" strip inked with Blush across the center with 3 Tulip Twinkle brads added. I inked all the papers with Olive except for the stamped piece I used Tulip. I finished with adding a bow with White daisy  Organdy ribbon.

Check back next week for another card or cards.
See you then.
