A Couple of Christmas cards

Like I mentioned a couple of days ago I would have a couple of more Christmas cards to show you. One is a 3x3 card and the other a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I continued with my Evensong paper and stickease from CTMH.

I am finding that whether you are making a scrapbook layout, card, Home Dec or any other type project that a number of different techniques can be used. These cards use ribbon, liquid glass, prisma glitter, fabric tags, stickease and sparkles. You can learn new things no matter what you are making and then be able to  use those techniques in future projects.  I hope you enjoy these cards.

Evensong Layouts

I am trying really hard to keep a goal I made for myself at the start of the year. I made a deal with myself that when I make a layout it has to be completed with pictures , journaling and all embellishments. In other words totally done and ready to put in the album.

Well I have been working on the Christmas pictures from Dec 2009 and using CTMH's Evensong Level 2 and Stickease. I have been using the guide they made for this paper line and have 3 two page layouts done. I have 2 more double page layouts to do and then WOW I will be caught up for the current photos. Notice I said Current photos. lol  I still have from 1 year of age -college of my daughter's pictures to do!! Along with vacations along the way when she was growing up. Whew!!  When I think about it it is overwhelming. I am going to try my hardest to make some progress in getting them all scrapped.

For my Evensong layouts I used all CTMH products. Please visit my CTMH website if you are interested in buying any of there products.

I know Christmas is over but....

I have vowed to work on at least 1 Christmas project each month in hopes that I will be well prepared by next year. A girl can hope and dream right?! Well today I have a layout I did using CTMH Evensong paper line and Stickease.

I used Liquid Glass in some of my embellishments and a combination of glitter and liquid glass on my trees. By using the liquid glass as the adhesive for the glitter it also gives a raised look when it dries.
I know I don't have pictures on yet but I am doing that next so I do have a completed project.

Supplies: All CTMH
Evensong Level 2
Evensong Stickease
Prisma Glitter
Evergreen stamp set
Liquid glass
E size Chocolate alphabet
Cranberry ribbon
Cranberry ink pad
New England Ivy ink pad
