Easter Layout

I have a layout to show you. I used the Sophia paper and stamp set. It is a really easy layout to put together. What I especially liked about making these pages was all the stamping I did. By stamping from one page to the next you have a nice continuing look. I don't have my pictures on them yet. Both of my printers ran out of ink!! I wanted to get something posted since it's been a couple of weeks. So here goes layouts without pics.

The colors used were Hollyhock, Blush, Pear and Goldrush.

"BIG" Sister

Today I have another layout done usng the Sophia paper pack. I also added a few different Embellishment products. You will see  some stitching around the border of each page done with Baby Pink Embroidery Floss.
I made the larger of the two circles stamping from the Baby Love stamp set a cute boy and a girl and added a folded paper looking ribbon edge to one side. That seemed just perfect to represent the now Big Sister to a baby brother.
A combination of stamps, Dimensional Elements for the scallop and zigzag pieces and stitching complete these layouts. It may not show up in these pictures but I used Opaque Pearls for the flower centers. The pearls I added to the ends of the zigzag strips have a small daisy on top. I used the smaller size on my Crop-A-Dile and punched the very tiny daisy out of the small daisy patterned paper . It is a simple little trick to add to your layout.   I hope you enjoy them!

A little card

I decided to show you a little Easter card using both the Sophia papers and a stamp . Not much to say about making this card. I did use a stamp that was an outline stamp and colored it in using the waterbrush and the inks called Pear and Creme Brulee.
Enjoy!!

See you soon with another project.

Tohonono Chul Park

I am going to be showing you  I think one more layouts done using the very beautiful Sophia paper line. This one here is completed with pictures from my lst birthday celebration. My Husband, daughter and grand-kids celebrated my day at one of the very beautiful desert parks. Hence my title "Beautiful". There is an outdoor eating area and then paths going through the park. There are all kinds of cactus plants with the most beautiful blooms you ever have seen. Our grand-daughter even found a new friend along the path and stopped for a photo.

Over the next few days I will post one more Sophia layouts and then I will have some with another pretty paper line I have been using called Sweetheart. It has pink, red , black and white papers .

See you tommorrow.

A Sophia Layout

DSC02824

DSC02826

I am really having fun making layouts using the Sophia paper line. I have pictures of my Granddaughter learning about the plants at her Grandma Rita’s house.  I used a few different techniques. I did some hand stitching, pleated ribbon, making embellishments by adding a number of elements together, stamping and edge distressing with a edge distressor tool.

I will be back with some more layouts using this beautiful paper.

I hope you enjoy!!!
