You're Tweet Cards

This card was made using two of the CTMH Cricut catridges. The Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges.  These  cards were designed by Adeline Brill. Thank you Adeline. Check her out for some more fantastic projects.
In this project she was showing how to use some of the different buttons available to us on our Cricuts that we may forget about or not know how to use. Also both cards are very similar but not exactly the same. The top one is cut with the Artiste cartridge and the bottom one with the Art Philosophy cartridge. Some of the buttons that we don't often think about using like Flip, Portrait, Fit To Length, Repeat Last, Settings to change from 1/4ths to 1/10ths,  Quantity and Real Dial Size, to name a few.  As an example in these cards the stamped frame  comes from a stamp set called Frame Flair D1548. On the carrier sheet for the stamp set it states which Cricut cartridge is used and what size to cut the images for the stamp to fit exactly. So it said to use the Art Philsophy cart and to cut it at 2 1/4". So in the bottom card the stamped image fits nicely on the white daisy CS cut piece. But on the top card the same stamp was used but the image was chosen from the Artiste cartridge and so it doesn't match exactly but yet it still works.

It is something to try when you are playing around with your different Cricut buttons. Pick a cartridge and a stamp set that has a Cricut image and see if you can make the same card using another cartridge by finding similar images. It helps us to look outside the box a little and expand our knowledge and our supplies. Try out some of the different buttons to see what they do for you. It will be surprising on how much can be done with a change or addition of a few buttons.

Thanks for stopping by. See you next time.

Kraft Container

The Big Picture P.J. Class was making this Kraft Container.
It is a very sturdy Kraft tube that could made into so many different ways. You could place a gift inside as a cute way to present a gift or fill it with candies and set on your desk or a variety of other options. Mine has 52 strips of paper inside each with an idea to us in your crafting. You can pick one out each day and incorporate in the project you are working on. It helps to expand what items you might end up using and techniques to try out.
This class was given by Stacy Julian. She gave us the download to printout her sheets of ideas to cut apart and put in the tube.
The next PJ Class is in July. I can't wait to see what it will be. This was a fun experience and can't wait to do it again.
Think of all the ways this tube could be decorated and used. It would be great during the Christmas season too. It is very inexpensive and can be decorated in a short period of time.
This tube used all CTMH products. They are the Chantilly paper pack, Grey twine, Happy Thoughts stamp set, Wooden Trinkets (the butterflies), Cricut cut for the frame and stamped with the coordinating Frame Flair stamp set and Twilight and Whisper inks.
