Covers for my Cricut Expressions and Cuttlebug
I have been working in my craft room again. I think I am done and there I go again seeing a better way to organize my "stuff"!!! Or is it?? Anyway I decided to move my Cricut and Cuttlebug to a space that is more at my reach to use frequently. Because of there new location in front of my window I thought it best to make covers for them so they were well protected. I was always going to make covers for them and never got around to it and this gave me that push or encouragement to do it now. I used the same fabric that I had used tin making the curtain at the top of my window and a table skirt all around the the "L" shaped desk. So I continued with the same material to make my covers. To decorate them just a little I used a pre-pleated satin ribbon and formed it into two flowers. I was going to make some of my paper flowers but because I was putting them on a fabric piece I felt ribbon was the better choice. For the Cuttlebug I made it so the handle is exposed. It seems to hang better and look better that way. They are quick and easy to make and had a bit more accent color to my craft room.
Thanks for stopping by.
Now I am off to continue working on a baby boy album for my Grand Child. As I get a bit further I will see about posting some of the pages. I have previously made a baby girl album which can be found by looking at my list of labels. It will say Baby album I believe.
I will have some other projects to show you soon as well.
Have fun scrappin!!!

Another Sundress
Well I got the other Sundress done that I was working on for my Granddaughter, Grace. What do you think? It is a little hard to see but there are little bows on the back waistband too. The little panties (not pictured here) were made out of the solid pink color.
It is kind of a funny story on how this fabric came to be a sundress for her. When shopping for this material my daughter and Grace came with me. We were looking at the different fabrics and we were picking some out to look at. All of a sudden Grace had her own opinion on the fabrics. She would say no and shake her head but when we got to this one she lit up. She grabbed it and hugged the bolt of fabric. My daughter and I looked at each and said well I guess she likes this one. It was the funniest thing to see but awfully cute at the same time. I can't wait to see her wearing it.

I've been Sewing
I have also been busy sewing some sundresses for my Granddaughter. I have one finished pictured here and have one more almost done that I will show you soon. Isn't it cute?!! I had so much fun making it. She loves dresses and she looks so adorable in this dress. It is kind of hard to tell but the back of the dress crisscrosses so that the little panties show. Living in Arizona makes this a perfect style for her to stay cool and look CUTE besides.
Now I have to finish the hand sewing on the second dress and I will be back to show you that one too.

Friendship Quilt Block Swap
I joined a Fiskateer Swap that was held by Fiskateer Jeannie #5377 titled Friendship Quilt Block swap. A number of Fiskateers each made two 12 x 12 quilt blocks to send to Jeannie. The condition other than the size was we had to use orange and green fabrics. These are the two that I made. They are bright aren't they?! But I thought they were a pretty combination of fabrics. We also were to write our name, Fiskateer # and where we lived on each block. I don't know if you can see the writing on mine but it is in the center square. The tags I made to go with each block may be hiding it. I decided to make a tag out of the fabrics I used in the quilt blocks to attach to each block. This was a fun swap to be a part of. Jeannie is going to put them together into two quilts one of which will be randomly chosen to go to one of us that were in the swap. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I get chosen. How fun would that be?! Whoever wins will have a wonderful treasure. I wanted to share this with all of you. It is one other thing I have been busy with.
I'll be back with some cards soon.
