Less than a week to Christmas....

Are you ready for Christmas? I am finishing some final touches. But  just in case you are in need of a way to package some treats  or a gift card for example here a couple of boxes I made using the CTMH AP Cricut Cartridge. All the pieces were cut from this amazing cartridge. In my examples I used the same style box for both of them but the cartridge offers a number of different styled boxes.  I am not the originator of the design of  these boxes but I couldn't resist making them after seeing them online and in the CTMH Idea Book. I have 2 designs I am showing today and will be back with a couple more tomorrow. The first one is a 5" box with Santa on the  front. The second picture shows you a side view so you can see the Santa is just on the front. I wanted to jazz him up a bit so I pop dotted his hat pom pom and added glitter to the pom pom and brim of the hat. I also took a little chalk to add some rosy cheeks .I used some ink to add some shading between all the white CS pieces.  Isn't he CUTE??!!

The second box is a real simple but pretty box. It has a simple leaf stem, an ornament hanging from the stem and hand stitching. I stamped a little sentiment to add the final touch. I cut 2 stems the same size one in Desert Sand and one in Olive. Inked them  The same Cartridge was used to make this box. This box was cut at "Fit to Page" and ended up 6 1/4".  As you can see just between these 2 boxes you can make whatever size you want. If you want it even bigger than this one you need to use the 12 x 24 mat though but there is a wide range of sizes that could be made.

Come back tomorrow with a couple more boxes. These are addicting. lol They turn out so cute it's hard to stop making another one.

I hope you Enjoy!! Thanks for stopping by.

As promised here is another box. Isn't he a cute little Penguin? I love him. Like the boxes above it is the same base box just a different size. This one is 5 1/2". Then again the CTMH AP cartridge was used t cut all the pieces that put his guy together. There is just one piece that is cut with the trimmer and that is the long piece of the scarf. I am going to try and get one more box at least posted soon. Hopefully tomorrow. I will add it to this post so check back on this post to see it.

Well I better get back to making candy and cookies. Have a great day!!!
