Easter Shaker Card
I got another Easter card made. I have a few more I would like to get done but not sure that will happen. Time will tell.
This card is a shaker card. I haven't made this style card in a very long time. It sure was fun to do!
The inspiration came from a CTMH video. I made it just about the same as shown in there video but added some clear Wink of Stella which I am not sure if it shows up and used different beads and sequins for my shaker bits.
Almost all the products I used are from CTMH.
The papers were from Penelope and Charlette for the patterned papers from CTMH. The CS colors are Glacier and White Daisy.
The coloring was done with watercolor paints. I am just starting to try that way of coloring so nothing special in my little chick or clouds. But I think they aren't to bad.
The stamp set is C1638 Spring Critters along with matching dies Z3207 Thin cuts Spring Critters. For the sentiment inside the card I used B1397 He is Risen
This was fun to do and I made a svg file for it that I will share here if you want to give it a try.

Bird's Nest Box Card
I had a fun day making another one of the box cards from the Springtime collection by svgcuts. This one is the Bird's Nest. With all the detail in each of the cuts this card comes together with a realistic look. I did some inking on each of the pieces to give some definition between them and used pop dots to add to the dimension.
The paper used was Graphic 45 Children's Hour and textured CS from various companies.
The final touch was a little clear Wink of Stella on the eggs in the nest. I am not sure if it shows up in the photo but it looks nice in real life.
The stamped sentiment was from two sets by CTMH. I used Spring Critters and He is Risen.

Zoe layout #4
Today is the final layout in the Zoe series. This is layout #4. This is the only layout that doesn't have any interactive element as part of the layout. This was a fun workshop to make and I can't wait to do a couple more workshops I got from Susan Williams. She can be found at www.justcrazyblessed.blogspot.com. I will be using My Crush papers for cards not as originally intended and the other one will be using the Charlotte paper. I will try to get them done and posted soon because they can only be purchased from now until April 30th or until they last.
So back to our Zoe #4 layout.
Here is the left page.
Notice the title. I used my MISTI to stamp that and was that ever the best tool for that. It made it so much quicker and easier to line up and if I didn't get a good impression I could stamp right back over it in the exact spot! I love my MISTI and use it all the time for my stamping. I love to stamp again because of this tool. It took all the frustration away and no more faulty images. If you haven't seen this fantastic tool yet you can find it at www.mysweetpetunia.com She is the inventor of the MISTI tool. The letters stand for "most incredible stamping tool invented" I can't agree more! Back to my layout-- I used two different ink colors on the title. They are Desert Sand and Chocolate. It also was two different stamp sets. I listed the supplies in a previous Zoe post.
Now here is the right side.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you soon with another project.

Zoe Layout #3
Today is Zoe layout #3 from the series of 4 layouts.
This layout also has an interactive element in the style of a book but made with a different size of pages and less number of pages than the 3 X 3 books that were in layouts #1 & 2.
I will show you the left side first.
The two shown with big bows in the twine are the interactive elements.
This picture is showing the little books opened. By using these little booklets either this size or the 3 x3 ones in layouts number 1 & 2 you can add more pictures, or memorabilia or journaling that you don't necessarily want it shown on the front but yet want it as part of the story you are telling with the pictures. Now I will show you the right side.

Easter Egg Box Card
Well Easter is fast approaching and I am trying to get some Easter cards made. Today I have a box card from www.svgcuts.com. It is from the files called Springtime Box Cards. This is another favorite site of mine for svg files. She makes some really beautiful designs.Be sure and check her out at www.svgcuts.com,
I really enjoyed making the card I have for you today. The paper used was from Graphic 45 Children's Hour, some AC card stock ,and a few embellishments from my stash. Do you remember the Sugar Eggs that have the scene in them? That is what this card reminds me of. It has lot's of depth. With using the brown dotted paper in the back really makes it look like it goes way back.
I also added glitter to the bunny and gave him a little bow. To make the centers of the flowers look more realistic I used an alcohol marker and gave it some quick swipes in the centers. Finally I added some pearls to the box front. It folds flat for mailing and her fie comes with the envelopes for each of the different cards so you always have the correct size for the card you are making.

Have a great day!

Easter Cards
I am trying to get a few Easter cards done to send out. My time is getting shorter and shorter. I hope I get all that I wanted to done and sent. We will see how I do.
So today I have two cards for you.
They are basically the same but there is just a small variation between them. I used the Hardwood stamp from StampIn Up, the Brushstrokes stamp from CTMH and inks from CTMH.
First I stamped the Hardwood stamp with Desert Sand ink on Kraft CS. Then I cut two 5/8" strips for each card. Of the two strips I made one 4 1/2" long and the other 3 1/2" long. I didn't have a punch to give the ends a jagged edge so I just cut by hand my ends on both strips. Then I inked the edges with Desert Sand ink. I set these aside and started working on the card front. I used daubers and two blues for the sky and the Brushstrokes stamp with Olive ink for the grass along with a dauber. After getting the background to look like I wanted them to I took a stamp from the CTMH set called Kaboom and stamped in the center top using Heavenly Blue ink(retired). I used it for rays of sun. I didn't have a Sun stamp so I had to improvise the best I could with what I have. It may not show up in the pictures but you can see it in real life. It is very sutle. Now back to the strips. I crossed the shorter one over the long one about 1" down from the top and adhered the two together. Then taking a very small round circle stamp, I used one from the CTMH Hit the Spot(retired). But you can use any flower center or any small dot from a variety of different stamp sets for this. Once you have your small dot ink with Chocolate ink and make "nail" heads on each end of all the strips.
Now here is where there is a change between the cards. On one I took a piece of brown satin ribbon and draped it over the cross. I added pop dots to the back of the cross and placed it on the center of the card. I used a small "Happy Easter" stamp from the CTMH Spring Critters stamp set and stamped it on a small strip of white Daisy CS using Slate ink. I cut it with a dove tail on the left edge and adhered it to the bottom right of the card.
The second card I made the same "Happy Easter" except I dove tailed both ends. I also gave the banner a curve up on the ends and pushed the center up. A little hard to describe. lol Set aside for now. Next stamp the wreath from CTMH Remarkable Wreath stamp in Desert Sand ink. Then I took the flower overlay stamp in the set and stamped first in Glacier ink and then offset it a little and stamped again in Canary ink. I hand cut the wreath out and slipped it over the cross. Add some pop dots to the back of the cross and add to the center of the card. Attach the banner at an angle across the center opening of the wreath. I stamped a greeting in the inside of both cards using two different Psalms from the stamp set B1428 Look to the Light

Clover Box Card
Today I have a little St. Patrick's Day card to show you. I got the file from www.3dsvg.com. It was one of his Free files. Go over and check him out for all the svg files he has for sale. It is a cute little Box Card. I decorated the CS I used with some stamping first. I chose a two step stamp shamrock for the base of the box. Then I stamped on the handle. Last I added some stickers and a shaker box style embellishment on the center top of the handle. The little banner that I put across the front of the box doesn't show up very well but it says Happy St.Patrick's Day.
