Card in a Box Craze!!!!

Well by now you must have seen all the posts of the Card in the Box. At least I think that is what they are called. Let me tell you if you haven't made one yet you have to give it a try. They are so much fun to do.  There are a number of videos on You tube that show you how to make these. I used this one for one of mine that I added some money inside it. She shows how to add a slot for a gift card.

The other one I made was from this site .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XIZ3a_mA3o

This is another video on making these card in box and she shows using the  CTMH Skylark paper.

There are many more also you just have to search for Card in a box and you will see a number of them listed.

So let's get to the project. My first one  was the one without the gift card insert. I used a Retired CTMH paper pack called Bella. I used a number of stamp sets and started building my card. Plus if you are careful on how you place your pieces you can fold it flat (or reasonably flat) and it fits in a regular size envelope. But what a WOW factor when the person gets it in the mail. The back side of the back piece  is where you can write your message.

This next one has the gift card insert slot and I have a few pictures to show you. I used Retired CTMH Chantilly Paper for this one and again a number of stamp sets. Some of the flowers in this box were Cricut cut and then stamped and some were stamped and hand cut out. In both boxes I also used some 1/4" x 3" pieces of clear acetate to adhere some of the flowers to. When the box is opened they move back and forth just like a real flower garden. You can make these for any occasion and with any elements you want to put in your box. Balloons look really cute too. Since I have made these two I have found another version of how you do the inserts. Also a rectangle version instead of a square. So I will probably be back with some more in the near future.

Give one of these a try. You will love making them. They actually are a little bit addicting!!

Thanks for stopping by.
