As I said in my last post I am a bit behind in getting some posts up. But even though Easter has come and gone I thought you might still enjoy seeing a few of the projects I had made for Easter.
This first one is another SVG file from www.svgcuts.com. This file is called Egg Hunt. It is a chocolate bunny card. The bunny has 3 layers to him making it very dimensional. I embossed the top layer with the CTMH Damask embossing folder. I liked the effect it gave the little bunny. Of course I had to make boy & girl bunnies too.
Here is a close up of the embossing and the multiple layers.
I also made a couple of other Easter cards. . This one was cut from my Cricut Explore and was from the Bunny Hop file from ww.svgcuts.com. It has multiple layers and is adhered only at the top half of the basket handle. It stands nicely. I cut two of the eggs with glitter paper and they cut like butter. Depending on what papers you used this card could look completely different and you could make a number of them in no time being each piece is cut from the Cricut. I am having so much fun learning about the Cricut Explore and all that can be done with it.
This one is using CTMH stamps and paper ,add a little stitching and a little coloring. Then finish it off with some seam binding ribbon and you have a cute little card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Welcome to my little corner of crafting. I hope you get a little bit of inspiration and ideas.

Easter has come and gone but.....
Well if you are still following me and I hope you are I am sorry I haven't posted in a while. But I hope things will work out so that I can post regularly.
Now I know Easter has come and gone but I still wanted to share with you a few things I made for Easter this year. You can always think about them for next year if you like them.
First I have a Bunny Treat Box. This was made from a SVG file from www.svgcuts.com . They have the cutest projects at that site. This Bunny box was from the group called Bunny Hop. She was so much fun to make.
This was my first time at making a project with a SVG file on my Cricut Explore and I must say it was so easy to do. The cuts came out perfect!! too. I had so much fun making this one that I cut another one out in a pastel yellow to give this one some company. I will be a little bit ready for next years Easter. lol

Be You
In my quest to use up as much of the Ariana papers and supplies that I could I ended with this card. It has a combination of just a few small strips of paper and then 4 of the Dimensional Element pieces. A touch of glitter on the glasses and some inking and the card was born.

Ariana layout #3
Today I have a two page layout that I made from ideas in the current CTMH Idea Book. One was pictured in a wooden frame and the other was shown using the chipboard Bracket Frame. I made them into flat regular layouts.
The left page is very detailed. It has machine stitching, making a strip that looks pleated but isn't, 3D embellishments, spray pen splattering with re-inkers and pearl paint, stamping, the Black & Grey assortment of Epoxy Bubbles and using Dimensional Elements.
To start with I mixed up two Spray Pens with re-inker and pearl paint. One was a Outdoor Denim Re-inker and the other was Black. Adding the pearl paint gives it a nice shimmer when it is sprayed on the page. This was done to both base pages first. Then after that had a good chance to dry (very important or it will smear as you do the machine stitching.) I did the machine stitching all around the base page 3/8" in using white thread. Now set this aside.
The strip that appears to be pleated was a group of 3/4" x 3" strips of Ariana B&T. I inked the edges with Whisper ink and then added strip after strip attaching only in the center so I could sew across the top and bottom. I used the white thread again and the 3/8" seam across the top edge and the bottom edge.
The strip alongside the photo was stamped with Sorbet ink and cut out. A stamped flower was added with the D.E. flowers which added more dimension. It was a fun layout to make.
The right page has the spray pen splattering , stitching, and stamping also. It is a little bit subdued because the left page was so full. Another fun layout to make.
This one has a couple of Cricut cuts using the CTMH cartridges too.
I hope you enjoy.

Ariana layout with a twist
I wanted to see if I could use up as much of the Ariana paper and chipboard pieces and it's assortment of bows as I could. So I started with the WOTG. Then the additional WOTG layouts. Next I took two ideas that are in the current CTMH Idea Book and made them into a two page layout. Which brings me to this two page layout.
I was getting low on the papers and supplies but there were enough still that I thought I could make one more layout. I didn't have quite enough Ariana paper left so I got out an older pack called Dakota. I felt the wood grain paper coordinated well with Ariana. There is a current paper pack called Timberline that has a wood type paper but I don't own that one so I used one from my stash. In addition in putting these two pages together I even used the Zip strips off the top of the B&T papers. It felt good to use up so much of the Ariana supplies and end up with a number of layouts as a result.
This is the left page. Because I ran out of my Ariana bows for this layout I used my Bow Easy Tool and made my own bows. I used ribbon from my stash again. I had the Sorbet ribbon rounds and a ribbon from believe it or not a Christmas kit called Mistletoe. I used quite a few of the Dimensional Elements and Epoxy Bubbles to finish it off.
On the right page below I finished much like the left page with a small difference. With the Dimensional Element Camera I added a little Crystal Glass on the lens. I made another bow using a ribbon from the Sorbet ribbon round and the Bow Easy Tool.

It was fun to take a pattern from one of the How To books and then go to work putting this layout together.
