Today I have the Wedding Card I made for the couple that my previous post was for.
Again I used my Cricut Explore and a SVG file. This one has a combination of papers putting this one together. I have another older CTMH paper pack called "For Always" for the B&T that looks like handwriting. The pink B&T is from my stash. Black CS from CTMH. Bazzill textured CS in white and 3 shades of pink.
This card went together fairly easily. It is a 5 x 7 card. first I placed the background paper on the card front. The cute little hearts have the white card base shine through. Then I added the tablecloth which is the writing B&T. Before putting the layers of the cake together I embossed the 3 sections with some border strip Cuttlebug embossing folders. Then I layered each of these strips onto the main cake piece and put a row of pearls across the middle layer. Then I made the flowers for the cake by squeezing the petals and rolling the tips to add some dimension. . Then take a large, medium and small flower and layer together turning each layer slightly. I added a clear bling to the center of each flower. I placed them cascading down the cake. Finishing the cake with adding a few pink "bling" randomly placed amongst the flowers on the cake and adding the dark pink plate to the bottom of the cake. Then adhere to the card front. Lastly the banner had the title attached and was placed with pop dots to the top of the card.
My envelope was made with the WeR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I love that tool. It makes any size envelope in no time. Plus I am finding many other uses on the internet that other talented craters have made with it. So you will probably see projects from me that come from that tool that isn't an envelope in the future. I decorated the envelope with a white layered flower with streamers of pearls.
