A couple more Christmas cards....

My first card is made using the Frosted Christmas paper form CTMH. The Artiste cartridge was used for the snowflakes and the image in the center of the card. I have a North Pole Christmas village from Dept 56 and when I saw the stamp set called Christmas Village I couldn't resist. I had to get it!! I used just one of the villages that came on that stamp set. I used Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue and Crème Brulee alcohol markers to add some color and then popped it up. The snowflakes are layered and two are popped up and one is left flat. I finished it with a cream paper flower and some twine that was wrapped around the card and tied into a knot.

My next card was put together with the Sparkle and Shine paper pack, Mary & Babe stamp set and the Sparkle and Shine washi tape. I used alcohol markers to color Baby Jesus in the colors of Crystal Blue, and Honey. To give the skin color I tried using the water brush and Blush ink. I am still trying to learn how to color and have it look right. To add a little sparkle I stamped the star and added silver glitter. The silver designed Washi tape was put next to the B&T paper and I put a piece on some White Daisy CS and then trimmed the end for a banner.

I have some more Christmas Cards that I will be posting in the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you next time.

A quick way of putting together some beautiful Christmas layouts.

Sparkle and Shine Christmas Cards

CTMH has a fun Christmas paper called Sparkle and Shine. I made these two cards using that paper and the Santa Claus stamp set. The colors are Whisper, Juniper, and Ruby. Plus of course adding some shimmer and bling with the red shimmer tape and clear sparkles. On the second card the front of the card was random stamped with two different snowflake stamps and whisper ink. Just adding a few strips of paper with that background and you have a beautiful card.

I have been busy as ever working on layouts , cards for Fall and Christmas ad Home Décor items. So stay tuned. I will try to get them all posted as soon as I can. I also have some more CTMH videos to post. They have some good info and beautiful projects.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you back.

Touch Of Fall

This card features the Petite Perks stamp set called Touch of Fall from CTMH. It goes perfectly with the Huntington paper pack. It was simply put together using a scallop border punch, Bronze shimmer trim and a couple of banners. This little stamp set has 4 small images and I put 3 of them on this card as the focal point. The acorn was stamped in Cocoa ink, the pumpkin in Autumn Terracotta and the leaf in Olive.

Gratitude Card

I just love this card!!! It was pictured on page 87 of the Autumn /Winter CTMH Idea Book 2013. I loved the colors and everything about it so I just had to give it a try in making it. The paper is from the Surf's Up paper pack and the Huntington paper pack along with Cocoa CS. Two stamp sets are used. Fall Harvest for the leaves and Always Grateful for the sentiment. The leaves were stamped first with cocoa pigment ink and then colored with the water brush and a variety of Fall colored inks. (I have a full supply list below.)
To give it some finishing touches I used some Opaque Mocha gems and the Burlap ribbon. But instead of using the Burlap ribbon as it comes I pulled strands out from it and them held them together and tied a bow. I also used a strand to hang the acorn. I still need some practice with my coloring but I was pretty happy how my leaves turned out. What do you think? Any suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks for stopping by!
See you next time.
