"Cherish"
I have been back working in my craft room. Sorry for the number of days between posts. I hope to have much more regular posting of projects. Thanks so much for staying with me.
This layout was made with the Stella paper pack from CTMH. The colors are Lagoon, Cocoa, Olive, and Sunset. The colors were perfect to feature my little Grandson on these pages. I used some stamping techniques to make the embellishments and title. The flowers were made from a lamp shade stamp and the variety of decorative panels for the lamp shade. Then turned upside down and voila you have flowers. Some other embellishments I used were Dimensional Hearts, and the Bohemian Assortment which are the crochet flowers and buttons. title was stamped using the "Token Alphabet" and the 1 1/4" circle punch. I took the the Art Philosophy cartridge and using Sunset CS cut hearts to cover the Dimensional Hearts. To finish it off I inked all the papers with Cocoa ink.

Another Pemberley card
1. Stamping and cutting out of elements.
2 Layering on the blue flower and the card itself.
3.Using other elements, such as a flower in the wood shapes.
4. To add a bit of bling some bitty pearls were added to the wood shaped flower.
5. Hand stitching along the Outdoor Denim strip.
6. Adding a unique element by cutting out 3 of the octagon shapes in the B&T paper and having just one edge of them peeking out from the Outdoor Denim strip.
The colors use in this card are Outdoor Denim, Desert Sand, Indian Corn Blue on a White Daisy card base.
Thanks for stopping by.

Pemberley Card
I am so sorry for the delay in posting some projects for all of you. I hope to be posting much more frequently. Today I have a card made from the Pemberley paper pack from CTMH. I am going to talk about 2 techniques I used in making this card. First I had fun coloring the sunflower stamp with 3 different inks and my waterbrush. To make the flower center I added some Bronze Stardust Glitter glue. Secondly, do you see the circle with Happy Anniversary on it? The piece around it is one of the irresistibles from CTMH. They are shapes in white chipboard with a resist design on them called Persnickety Jounaling Spots. When you take the color ink you want to use and rub over the shape a beautiful design emerges. The sheet comes with a number of different shapes and designs on them. They are lot's of fun to add to all different projects.
The colors used in this card are Outdoor Denim, Olive, Sunflower, Goldrush, Sunkiss Yellow and Bamboo for the card base.
Hope you enjoyed this project.
