It also has a couple of Cricut cuts that match up with two of the stamps. That is always a fun addition to the stamp set.
Now on to how I made this little card. It is a 4 x 4 card cut using Kraft CS and the Art Philosophy cartridge. Note : I inked all the papers with Cocoa ink.
First I took two B&T papers from an older kit I have called Magnifique to make the cream colored layer and the strip going across the front of the card. The cream B&T was Cricut cut at 3 1/2" using the same design as the card. The strip is a 3/4" x 4" and cut to match the shape of the card on the right side.
Next I did another Cricut cut for the scalloped flower shape. I used Kraft CS paper and then stamped the matching design from the stamp set with Cocoa ink. I stamped this design again on Colonial White CS with Tulip ink and used only the center portion. Attach it to the center of the flower with some foam tape. Set this aside.
Attach the cream piece centered on the front of the card. Then add your 3/4" strip across the center of the card.
Stamp with Cocoa ink the following on the cream B&T. The small bird in the bottom right corner and the small set of flowers in the upper left. Add just the tiny little flower just below the 3/4" strip and above the little bird.
Attach the large flower towards the left centered over the strip. The last couple of steps are thread a chocolate flower button with colonial white floss and attach to the strip at the far right and sing a while pen I made stitch lines around the cream B&T paper. * You can do actual stitching if you prefer and then cut another shape to to place on the inside cover to hide your stitching. I love to stitch and usually do but I needed to get these done in hurry so used the pen.
Hope you enjoy!! See you next time.
