Beautiful Florentine

There are a number of beautiful papers in the CTMH line but the one named Florentine is absolutely gorgeous!!. It has shades of Garden Green, Brown Bag, Twilight and Vanilla Cream.  I really liked how one of the pages  in the Idea book using this paper was made, so I got busy and made it up. Then to make a companion page for it I used another layout featured in the Idea Book and tweaked it a bit.

Both of these layouts have  a lot of BLING!!! I used Liquid Glass, Bitty Buds, Sparkle Flourishes, Pearls, Timeless Charms, Wood shapes and Crochet Flowers. The Cricut was used for the Title and some of the stamped pieces. I still have to finish my journaling but then it will be completely done. These were a bit time consuming to make but I enjoyed every step of the way.

A couple of the techniques I used were the Liquid Glass was added to all the hearts on both layouts. Stamping with the masking technique, Stitching with a double row, and stamping on the wood shapes. I love using new techniques when I scrap and some of the tried and true ones too.

HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY!!!

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day tomorrow.  I am fortunate in that I will be able to spend my Mother's Day with my only child, my daughter and her family. Have a great Day!!!

Stella Layout

Oh my gosh it has been  a while since I have posted any artwork for all of you. I have been so busy with other things that my scrapping has taken a back seat. Well sort of.... I was busy making things just no time to post anything. So today I have a layout to show you using the Stella paper pack from CTMH. This was a really fast layout to make because I used the canvas shapes that were an added embellishment to the Stella collection.. I also used the Bohemian Assortment to further embellish the pages. This assortment comes with crochet flowers and a variety of buttons.
