It's Graduation Time!!! (Updated)

My niece who is also my Goddaughter is graduating from High School in June. Just a couple weeks away. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. She was just a little girl what seemed only a short while ago but now she has grown into a very kind, warm, smart, caring, beautiful and so much more young lady. I wish her all the best on her new journey in life. College will be such a great experience in so many ways. Well of course I had to get out the crafting tools and make her a Money Card. After all isn't that the best gift for someone entering a new phase in their life? I love to scrap and create and she also loves this hobby. So of course I did some searching on the internet looking at all the wonderful Gradation projects that are out there. I put together the following card to send to her. Hope you like it.

Here is the outside and inside of my Money holder/Card. I am still trying to decide if  I should add something to the inside yellow paper. Any thoughts??

**UPDATED HERE **---  This is what I ended up adding to the inside portion. I stamped the "For you" and then cut with my Cricut Expressions the "Graduate" and added the white pen lines like on the front numbers.

I also made a baby Owl but decided not to use it anywhere here. But here he is. Kinda cute little fellow isn't he??!!

Here are the supplies I used:
Kraft CS CTMH
BO Bunny Back to Basics for the yellow and red dotted papers
Bazzill CS-Brown and Black
Tim Holtz idea-ology Chain Tassels
Uniball Signo white pen
Black Hemp CTMH
Antique Copper Brads
Cricut Expressions /Gypsy  for the numbers using Mini Monograms and Wild Card cartridges
White copy paper for the diploma

Easter Layout

I have a layout to show you. I used the Sophia paper and stamp set. It is a really easy layout to put together. What I especially liked about making these pages was all the stamping I did. By stamping from one page to the next you have a nice continuing look. I don't have my pictures on them yet. Both of my printers ran out of ink!! I wanted to get something posted since it's been a couple of weeks. So here goes layouts without pics.

The colors used were Hollyhock, Blush, Pear and Goldrush.

"BIG" Sister

Today I have another layout done usng the Sophia paper pack. I also added a few different Embellishment products. You will see  some stitching around the border of each page done with Baby Pink Embroidery Floss.
I made the larger of the two circles stamping from the Baby Love stamp set a cute boy and a girl and added a folded paper looking ribbon edge to one side. That seemed just perfect to represent the now Big Sister to a baby brother.
A combination of stamps, Dimensional Elements for the scallop and zigzag pieces and stitching complete these layouts. It may not show up in these pictures but I used Opaque Pearls for the flower centers. The pearls I added to the ends of the zigzag strips have a small daisy on top. I used the smaller size on my Crop-A-Dile and punched the very tiny daisy out of the small daisy patterned paper . It is a simple little trick to add to your layout.   I hope you enjoy them!

Love Your Face!!!

This layout uses a few different techniues. I used the pretty pink and black Sweetheart paper pack to start off with. Then using the Spray Pen mixed with Tulip Re-Inker up to the second line add water to the 9th line. Shake to mix well. After applying the papers to the base page I then sprayed primarily up on the upper left corner of both pages. depending how close to the page you are you can get different looks. The polka dot paper is black and gray on one side and pink and white on the other. Giving you the opportunity to make totally different looking layouts from one paper pack.
To complete the page  some stamping and the use of Liquid Applique, buttons  and Black Epoxy embellishments were  used.
