I made these little votive holders to set up on the mantle for Halloween. I used some very old wood CTMH stamps sets. The pumpkins was called the Pumpkin Patch and it was a single stamp. The other two were made from then set called Trick or Treaters. I used a heavy vellum and stamped in black on the front. Then I took CTMH markers and colored in on the back side. I used some DMC floss to sew the 2 pieces together and slip them over a glass candle holder. Then put in a tea light or candle and light. The glow from the flames shines through the image and they are really cute!. Fun, Easy and Quick to make using any stamps you would want. My vellum pieces were cut 2 1/2 x 6. Cut the vellum according to the size candle holders you are using. Two for each one you would make. You could put the ends together in a number of different ways also.
Welcome to my little corner of crafting. I hope you get a little bit of inspiration and ideas.

them together on the second page of this layout.
Now the pages from here on will be 2 page layouts begining with 1 month of age.
Stay tuned for more to come.
Welcome Home Layouts
A Note: the journaling areas have been placed on each layout but haven't been filled in yet. I thought I would do that all at one time. I have her weight and height for each month of her life so that will be included as well.
The Proud parents
I had made one of these albums for her Mom. When my daughter married her Mother in Law asked if I would make an album for her son identical to my daughters other than it being the boy line of paper of course. So I used the Sharon Ann Baby line for my daughters album and my son in laws album. Then when they had their first child I thought how fun it would be to make their daughter an album to just like Mommy and Daddy. I purchased this years Sharon Ann Baby collection and got started on her album. Now of course my intentions were good at the start. I was going to do a page each month finishing on her birthday. Well time got away from me and now she will be 1 year at the end of next month!!! YIKES!! So I thought if I made a committment on this blog to post as I got them done that I would work on it in a timely manner and actually have it completed in time.
I will post the pages I have done so far and then hope to post another 2 page layout every couple of days.
Products used for this page are Sharon Ann papers, CTMH paper flower, CTMH metal embellishments, CTMH Hollyhock twill ribbon and a poem about daughters that I had used on a project of my daughters from Junior High School.
I will be posting a few more pages today and then hopefully each day or two you will see the progress of each months pages getting completed.

3x3 Christmas Card
I am a Hostess for a Fiskateer swap every month in which we swap products. This month we had a Christmas Theme. Some of the people in the swap send me a Hostess gift. To show my appreciation and thanks for their generosity and thoughtfulness I make a 3x3 card that I leave blank so they can use it. Well because our swap was the Christmas theme I decided to make the 3x3 cards for Christmas also. I put this card together using almost all CTMH products. I used the following CTMH products. Christmas Melodies and Gratitude stamp sets. Colonial White, New England Ivy, and Olive card stock. Cranberry ribbon, New England Ivy and Cranberry inks. The tree was decorated with Fiskars Rain Dots. I forgot to take the picture of the envelope but I made that also and stamped to coordinate with the card.
If you are a Fiskateer and would like to join the swaps watch for my post on the first day of each month to see what we are buying to swap and to sign up. If you aren't a Fiskateer yet but would like to be one go to http://www.fiskateers.com/ and click on how to join to become a Fiskateer.

Santa Candy Wrapper
I sawthis very cute idea from Dawns Stampin Studio. I have her blog listed under my blog list so check it out. She did a video on how to make these. I had to make mine a little different because I don't have Stamp Up punches which is what she used. So I did some thinking and checking around my scrapbook room on how I was going to make the beard, brim, head and hat. This is what I came up with. I cut the head from using the Fiskars circle cutter. Eyes and nose a 1/4" Fiskars hand punch. All the rest were cut using different Cricut cartridges. I used Mini Monogram, Joys of the Season and Christmas Cheer. The beard was made from a wreath, the brim from a pipe and the hat from a scalloped square. I really had to look at the designs in a different manner to come up with these. I was so happy I challenged myself and learned so much from this process. These have Hershey miniature chocolate and chocolate with almond bars inserted. They will also fit Mr Goodbar miniature bars. To put in Butterfinger and Kit Kat miniature bars some adjustment to the wrap around part will need to be made. I added glitter at the end to give him some sparkle. This would be Cute in a Holiday basket, attached to a gift etc. A Big Thank You to Dawn for doing this video.
Halloween Spinner Card
I wanted to make a halloween card for my Granddaughter for her first Halloween. Now she is only 11 months old for her first Halloween so she won't know what it is all about, but I thought if I made an interactive card she would have seeing the movement. So I decided on the Spinner Card. I used CTMH Boo-tiful and Happy Haunting stamp sets. I also used some misc halloween stamps, Cloud 9 paper and CTMH Colonial White, Autumn Terracotta and black inks.
